Agreement of Cooperation was signed with PACO Technologies LLC The Javeriana University, through the Engineering Faculty, signed on January 26 an agreement of cooperation with the U.S. Company PACO Technologies LLC, in order to promote understanding and the application of the “Configuration Management” methodology in academia and its intermediate entities related to the construction of public infrastructure.
The signed agreement provides training in phases to the faculty by applying the methodology through case studies in Colombia. With regards to the afore mentioned, taking into account the University’s social commitment in addressing issues of public investment, which requires the contribution of academia in the improvement of the technical and financial management of civil works projects.
PACO Technologies is a company that provides solutions for construction/ program management and services for the transportation industry in the United States and other countries. The methodology used by the company, which will be implemented in subjects related to project management and construction projects, prevents changes that occur in civil works projects at the time of its execution which end up increasing the expected costs.
